I believe I wore the tan pair for a swing number, and the black pairs have both been used for the "Russian" number in the Nutcracker, and various plays.
These character shoes are all about a US size 6 with a hard leather sole. The tan pair and one black pair have a 2 inch heel while the second black pair has a 2.5 inch heel.
This type of shoe is used for character dancing in ballet, folk dance, and occasionally swing and social dance. They are also used for musical theatre and I think they're great for costuming (halloween, school plays), cosplay, dress-up, etc. :)
They have been well used, but definitely have life left in them!
